Working on Martinez and Mu has been such a great experience. I started my journey in film working on food reviews for NBC for a pilot show called Flavortones. Getting to work with Rob Martinez and Julian Mu feels like a full circle experience. I find myself asking the hard questions. How can I make you laugh? How can I keep you watching? How can I best show off the food? The ‘you’ in these questions is the 2,050,000 followers. When two content creators team up and create cross promotional content, boy is that a lot of eyes. One of the most vital experiences was attending the opening premiere and seeing how the audience watches, and letting those observations be my guide.

Episode 1 Food Duels: Sandwiches & NYC

This week, Julian and Rob battle through New York City to find its best sandwich. From Staten Island to East Harlem, they end up trying 13 sandwiches across the Big Apple. In the end, the winner isn't chosen by us: It's chosen by one of YouTube's favorite food creators, Inga Lam.

Episode 2 Food Duels: Sausage & Chicago

What's the best sausage in Chicago? Today on Food Duels, Martinez & Mu answer that question in a daring race that takes them to 14 different Chicago restaurants. Polish. Thai. Yugoslavian. Filipino. You can see why we chose sausage in Chicago when you look at just how many countries we represented in this episode. What an absolute pleasure. We love Chicago. In the end, the sausages aren't judged by us, but by ‪@goatboyintl‬ — a chef who's been working in Chicago his whole life (probably in anticipation of this very moment).
